How to Apply Zanderm

Preparation before application:

Zanderm works best on clean, dry skin. It is helpful to remove all make-up, lotions, oils or moisturizers before using Zanderm.

Tip: Exfoliating your skin will expose a fresh layer of skin allowing Zanderm to last longer. You can exfoliate your skin with a rough sponge or body brush. You may also find it helpful to use a good exfoliating soap in a shower.

Apply Zanderm anytime:

Zanderm dries quickly.  You can use it anytime, anywhere. You won’t need to worry because it is sweat and smudge resistant.

Tip: You want to allow at least 4-6 hours before showering or washing so that the full color can develop.

Tip: Feel free to use a little makeup on top of your Zanderm camouflage to create a flawless look. Zanderm works well as a base instead applying multiple layers of concealer.

Start with a test patch:

As with all new products it is important to test a small area first. Let the color dry (about 90 seconds) and develop fully (we recommend at least 4 hours). If you are satisfied with the results, go ahead and fill in the rest of your spots.

Tip: Apply on areas exposed to the sun and areas that are normally covered since skin color may be different.

Tip: Some people find that they need different shades of Zanderm for different parts of their body.

Put color exactly where you want it:

Zanderm will darken both pigmented and nonpigmented skin. Zanderm’s precision applicator will help you stay within the lines of each spot.

Tip: Quickly remove unwanted color with a damp paper towel or baby wipe within the first minute after application.

Tip: You can lighten the existing shade by using a damp paper towel or cotton ball. Lightly dab to freshly applied Zanderm, this technique will lighten the current color.

Using the precision applicator:

Consider using the tip of the applicator to make a fine line or to fill in a small spot. Use the side of the tip to fill larger areas.

Tip: Don’t apply heavy pressure directly onto the tip. Zanderm works best with light strokes.

Touch up:

Zanderm is easy to use and take along. You can touch up with Zanderm wherever and whenever you want. You can touch up Zanderm daily to achieve your desired look.

Tip: Keep tightly closed when not in use.

Tip: Zanderm is water-resistant, but chlorine will naturally bleach your skin and will reduce Zanderm’s longevity.

Tip: Waxing and exfoliants can also be hard on the top layer of skin where Zanderm develops color. Plan on a quick touch-up after any of these activities.

Practice makes perfect:

The effects of Zanderm colors vary from person to person. It may take a bit of practice to get it just the way you like it. With experience you’ll soon figure out how to apply Zanderm so that you can achieve the best results.

Tip: In order to achieve the desired effect, experiment with different techniques and colors. Be patient and remember that Zanderm is a camouflage and not a makeup.
