How do I find my color?

Start by finding some appropriate options on our color guide. Color can look different on different people’s skins. It can take a little trial and error to find the shade that will provide great camouflage. The closer your Zanderm color matches your skin, the more effective the camouflage color will be.

Step 1:
Use the color swatches to first determine which category you are in – medium, dark or deep.

Step 2:
Read the description so you can determine if you are warm, neutral or cool skin tone.

Just remember that this is a camouflage and not a makeup and is not intended to match your skin exactly. Zanderm will give you some color and confidence, so that the white is less noticeable. Don’t hesitate to use a little make up to help blend it in. If your makeup washes off there will still be Zanderm underneath.

How long does Zanderm last?

Some customers see coverage for several days. However, every person’s body is different. The color will fade naturally over a period of days, but you can expect to maintain some color throughout this time.

How long will one applicator last?

A little bit of Zanderm goes a long way. It will depend on how large your coverage area is, and how often you use it. Average users report applicators lasting anywhere from 30-60 days.

Will I be able to use Zanderm with UV treatments?

Zanderm contains no SPF. We have had no reports historically of Zanderm interacting with UV treatment. If you have any concerns we recommend consulting with your dermatologist.

How can I remove Zanderm?

Once Zanderm has completely developed (this takes 3-4 hours)  on your skin, it is very difficult to remove all of the color. You can use an exfoliating scrub to help you remove the product faster. Zanderm is designed to resist removal, which is why we recommend coloring in a test patch first.

Can I go into a pool with Zanderm on?

Sure! Pool water will not wash Zanderm away. However, chlorine can make the color fade. We recommend a touch-up after each visit to the pool.

Can I shower after applying Zanderm?

We recommend applying Zanderm after you shower for best results. We suggest waiting 3-4 hours for the color to completely develop before showering.

Is Zanderm safe to use?

This gentle formula has been dermatologist-tested and approved.

Do you have an applicator that will cover a larger area?

Does Zanderm protect you from the sun?

Zanderm does not offer any SPF protection whatsoever. However, you can apply sunscreen right on top of Zanderm if necessary. In fact, we strongly recommend you do just that!

What if I don’t see a color that matches my skin tones?

Zanderm does not necessarily match every skin tone. Zanderm is intended to be a camouflage, not a make up. You can view our tips and techniques on how to achieve the best results from Zanderm.

I can’t find a color in your palette that works for me, what do I do?

Why did my applicator stop working soon after I first applied Zanderm?

Usually we find that this occurs when people apply Zanderm to skin that has oil or lotions on it. This clogs the fibers of the tip making it seem as though the pen is dry. Please contact us if this occurs and we will try to help you find a solution.

  • Orders placed by Thursday 10am EST through Monday 10am EST, will be shipped out on Tuesday.
  • Orders placed Monday after 10am EST through Thursday 10am EST, will be shipped out on Friday.

    How long does it take me to get my order?

    Standard: 3-7 business days from day your order ships

    Priority: 1-3 business days

    Express: 1 business day

    Once a label has been created for your order, you will receive an email with your tracking information so you can easily track its journey. If you created an account you can always log in and check the status of your order and order history.

    Transit time is typically 3-15 business days. A tracking number will be emailed to you once your package is on its way, so you can easily track its journey. Please note, that sometimes tracking stops once it enters the destination country. We suggest contacting your local postal office.

    What about duties and other taxes?

    All taxes, duties, and customs fees are the responsibility of the customer. We cannot predict what your charges may be. If you have any additional questions, you can reach us via email.

    How do I know if my order has shipped?

    What is your exchange policy?

    • You may exchange an item(s) if it falls under our exchange guidelines within 14 days (for domestic) and 28 days (for international) from the delivery date. If there’s any problem with your order please email us at care@zanderm.com and we will do our best to fix it.
    • How do I exchange an item(s)?


      • We only exchange defective or damaged items.
      • We do not exchange precision applicators if you are unhappy with the shade. Our color testers were designed so you can have experience with the product and shade before you ordered the applicator.
      • Please email us at sales@zanderm.com and we will email you back with return instructions and an authorization code.
      • Your authorization code must be on your shipping label.
      • Place product(s) in a securely sealed package, and mail it to: Zanderm Returns PO Box 216 Lawrence, NY 11559.
      • As soon as we receive your package, we will proceed with a replacement.

      We will email you as soon as your exchange is processed. Standard domestic shipping fees will be waived on your exchanged order. International shipping fees will be discounted by $5 USD.

      Items NOT eligible for exchange:

      • Returns not made in the required time frame.
      • Items returned without authorization.
      • Items that don’t fall under our exchange guidelines.
